Folk song

A long, long time ago.
Mommy told me so.
In the dark and silent midnight, Auntie Tiger is there.
Crying baby, please don’t cry. She might bite your little ears.
Sleepless baby, go to sleep. She might bite your pinkie.
I remember, remember, I narrowed eyes and said “Auntie Tiger, give me a break.”
Then I fell asleep in my bed.

Above are the lyrics of the folk song for the Hakka story: Auntie Tigress. It's a song talking about the original story about Auntie Tigress will come out and ear children in the midnight. This song became a folk song, and mothers will warn their children to go to bed earlier, otherwise Auntie Tigress will come and eat your little fingers!

Picture Bools with Music!

There are some picture books are sold with music CDs. Some of them are just music that you can hear while you are reading. Some of them have a signal that tells you when you should flip the pages, so that the music tone/ spread will goes with the story and create a certain mood that fit the page. It is especially useful to describe the feelings you have when you are reading, for example, fear when the monster comes out, or happy when it's got a good ending.
